Functional units
Build the line-up from your single-line diagram
Start with the feeder function. Confirm switching duty, protection, earthing, interlocks and interfaces for the complete arrangement.
Load-break switch
Ring-network switching function. Confirm the operating mechanism, earthing arrangement and required interfaces.
Switch-fuse combination
Transformer protection using a selected fuse arrangement. Fuse selection follows the transformer and coordination requirements.
Vacuum circuit-breaker
Feeder or transformer protection. Confirm the protection relay, instrument transformers and auxiliary supply.
Additional project functions
Discuss cable connection, bus sectionalising, voltage-transformer or metering functions as required by the scheme. Dimensions, termination positions, operating clearances and extension interfaces need the selected arrangement drawing.

QCL-24 questions
Can QCL-24 be used for 20kV and 22kV systems?
It can be evaluated for these networks when the required insulation level and project specification are satisfied. Equipment rated voltage and network operating voltage must be checked together.
How is the feeder combination selected?
The incoming, outgoing, transformer protection, bus section, metering and PT functions follow the approved single-line diagram.
Are dimensions fixed?
Dimensions depend on the selected functional unit, cable interface and auxiliary requirements. Final dimensions are issued in the approved GA drawing.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Start with your country and equipment requirement. For a detailed offer, we will confirm the voltage, current, fault level, quantity, protection, cable interfaces and delivery requirements.
Can drawings and witnessed FAT be arranged?
SLD review and project-specific GA drawings can be supplied. Routine testing, witness points and the FAT document scope are agreed for the confirmed project.
