Typical SLD and Functional Units
A single-line diagram defines the electrical function of each panel and is the starting point for equipment selection, protection review and quotation.
C Unit
Load-break switch cable unit for incoming, outgoing or ring connection, according to the selected system.
V Unit
Vacuum circuit-breaker feeder unit used where protection and fault interruption are required.
F Unit
Switch-fuse combination commonly used for transformer protection within its applicable ratings.
M / PT Unit
Metering or voltage-transformer function configured to the utility and project requirements.
SLD Review Checklist
Confirm system voltage, busbar current, fault level, feeder functions, transformer ratings, relay philosophy, metering requirements, earthing arrangement and cable interfaces. Qiangchi can convert the approved SLD into a panel schedule and preliminary GA.
