What is the XGN15-12?
It is a 12kV-class air-insulated ring main unit used for switching, protection and distribution in 11/12kV networks.
Can XGN15-12 be used on an 11kV system?
Yes. An 11kV network commonly uses equipment from the 12kV rated-voltage class, subject to the project insulation level and utility specification.
Which functional units are available?
Typical arrangements include load-break switch, fuse-switch, circuit-breaker, metering and PT units. Final availability follows the approved SLD.
What does 630A mean?
630A is the normal-current rating for the main circuit. Cable, busbar and feeder selection must also satisfy the project load and temperature-rise requirements.
What information is required?
Voltage, current, fault level, frequency, quantity, SLD, BOQ, cable details and technical specification.
Are dimensions fixed?
Panel dimensions and lineup length depend on the functional units, mechanism, cable entry and auxiliary equipment. Final dimensions are issued in the approved GA drawing.
Can FAT be arranged?
Yes. Routine tests, witness points and project document requirements can be agreed before production.
